About Perth Wakes
Perth Wakes is an independent guide to places in Perth where families can hold a wake or celebration of life. It lists 60 venues, from yacht and bowling clubs to pubs, hotels and community halls.
Where the information comes from
Every detail on this site comes from the venue’s own website, price list or function pack. Each venue page links to the pages used. Every venue was checked on 7 October 2026. Review sites, booking sites and other directories are not used as sources.
If a venue’s website does not give a figure, the listing says “Not published”.
What the labels mean
- Wake package: the venue’s own website publishes a wake or celebration of life package, price or free room offer.
- Wake page: the venue’s own website has a dedicated wake or celebration of life page or section, but no published wake price.
- Hosts wakes: the venue’s website mentions wakes or celebrations of life, without a dedicated page.
- Free room option: the venue says on its website that at least one room has no hire fee, for wakes or for all functions. Food and drink are still charged.
- Seated and standing: the largest numbers the venue publishes, usually for its biggest room.
- Private room: the venue says it has a private room or space. Some are only semi-private, so ask.
- Older documents: where a venue’s prices come from an older document, its listing says so.
Before you book
Prices, rooms and rules change. Call the venue to confirm before you book or pay a deposit. Perth Wakes does not take bookings or payments, and no venue has paid to appear.
Corrections and new venues
